Dear Journal,
Here we are, at our new home. When we got to the door, Victor suddenly swept me off my feet and carried me over the threshold, he is so romantic. I couldn’t stop giggling.
It’s a four bedroom detached house facing the beach. The living room needs redecorating, the smallest and second smallest bedrooms too. Ours is the biggest room, with blue-purple walls and a built in wardrobe. Tomorrow Victor and I are going to buy everything we need to make it a proper home, with a welcome mat. We think we ought to buy the beds first, though. The one here is very grim.

Dear Journal,
We got to our new house about half an hour ago. I picked Victoria up and carried her through the door, it made her all giggly. She’s so cute when she giggles. The house needs a bit of redecorating here and there, but it’s quite nice. We are going shopping tomorrow to buy all the furniture. I think we should start with buying a bed. The one the previous owner left is awful. It’s not the maggots and weevils that bother me as much, but the springs are out to stab me! they really are!
